Susie Cipolla was born in Vancouver, BC. and now lives on a rural property north of Pemberton, BC. In 2009 she left the field of health care and on a whim took an art workshop with the master artist Brian Atyeo. She discovered a real passion for painting and has since devoted her time to creating works of art based on a large variety of subject matter from wild and domesticated animals to mountain landscapes and marine scenes. She has a love of photographing animals in their natural habitats and using the reference photos for her paintings. She is renowned for her bear paintings. Susie is a senior signature member of the Federation of Canadian Artists and is represented by galleries in BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Quebec.
